Shri. Amrish Patel, current President and Trustee of Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal, which runs 69 schools and 13 colleges including D.J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, Bhagubhai Polytechnic College, N. M. College, Mithibai College and others.

He is also Chancellor of prestigious N.M.I.M.S. which has completed 34 years of establishment & accorded the Deemed University status in 2003 by the Government of India, as per UGC recommendations. Under his able leadership the University has grown phenomenally, venturing into areas as diverse as technology, pharmacy, architecture, analytical science, commerce, and business education. It has broken new ground by offering the five year integrated MBA Tech. program, a unique combination of engineering and management; likewise, MBA Pharma Tech, an amalgam of Pharma Technology and Management, has also been introduced.
Mr. Amrish Patel is an active social worker & has transformed his home town Shirpur into an ultra-modern district.
