e.yantra

e-Yantra lab, associated with IIT Bombay was established on 28^th July 2016 in Universal College of Engineering. e-Yantra Lab Setup Initiative (eLSI) is a college-level program under which colleges are encouraged to set up robotics labs. It is designed as a scalable and sustainable approach that addresses infrastructure creation and teacher/student training – to create an eco-system at the colleges to impart effective engineering education.

Activities

• Hands-on training (30hrs) on FireBird V. Training is based on embedded systems and robotics wherein its modular architecture allows to control it using multiple controllers such as 2560, AVR, PIC, and ARM7.
• 15 days summer internship on FireBird V.
• Participation in competitions like eYRC- eYantra robotics competition, eYIC-eYantra ideas competition, hosted by IIT Bombay e Yantra lab.
• Attend eYS event at IIT Bombay to bring together all colleges with e Yantra labs and share projects & brainstorm with ideas.

Robotics club of UCOE

It’s a group of enthusiastic and energetic students to develop lab and new ideas in projects and field of robotics.

Activities of club

• Conduct seminars, workshops, STTPs related to robotics.
• Participate in competitions like Roborace, Robocar.
• Built real-time projects based on robotics.
